After a short summer break the Assemblies of Solidarity are back into action. This new chapter has landed in Romania, more specifically in the city of Constanta on the shores of the Black sea. The Assembly of Solidarity focused on climate change issues and was co-organised in collaboration with Eco Dobrogea and 2 Celsius.
We came together in Strasbourg while the Plenary is kicking off to reclaim our space as citizens & residents in the debate about the future of Europe!
We call on to the executive board to develop a strategy of inclusion in relation to the #Conference to ensure that marginalised communities are adequately represented and involved in the Conference.

Civil society organisations can co-sign this letter by filling out the following form. The deadline is Friday, 18th of June, 18:00 CEST. The letter will be sent to the members of the Executive Board on Saturday morning, 19th of June.

Citizens and civil society have long waited for the Conference on the Future of Europe (hereafter: the Conference) to officially start, on Sunday, 9th May 2021, in Strasbourg. The EU institutions have promised us a Conference that should be a world-wide innovative exercise in democratic reform and citizen participation.
